Dorian  VF

Experimental Type Design
This experimental, variable font has two ‘opposing’ master fonts Jagged and Curved. Dorian VF is a metaphor for the binaries through which we often percieve the world. It is clear that the human experience is infinitely naunced, yet our tendency to label and categorise the world seems unavoidable.

Inspired by the tension of these two opposing truths, the Dorian master fonts are a visual representation of binary systems. The resulting interpolations between them aim to acknowledge the fluidity and grey areas found in these systems. Their expressions are unconventional, ambiguous, and challenging.
